Growing up in Yorba Linda and Placentia, Dr. Josephine Liu has strong ties to the Orange County community. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine with dual majors in Criminology, Law, & Society and Psychology & Social Behavior. After a short stint in law school, Dr. Liu realized that her passion was always in medicine. She took a leap of faith in pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian and completed a post-baccalaureate degree in health sciences at Chapman University. She then earned her doctorate at Western University of Health Sciences – College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Liu is a general practitioner with a special interest in small animal medicine and surgery. Furthermore, she is fluent in Mandarin.

In her free time, Dr. Liu loves spending time with her husband, four-legged children and new baby.  She enjoys traveling, hiking, DIY projects, and trying new and unique cuisines.
