Dr. Noah Makela
Dr. Noah Makela discovered his passion for animals and science after becoming a certified scuba diver in San Diego at the age of 14. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa before pursuing his veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completing his clinical training at the University of Florida. During his education, he completed externships with the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program and SeaWorld San Diego.
Today, Dr. Makela lives with his wife, their dogs Boba and Prince, and a thriving home aquarium. Outside the clinic, he enjoys traveling to new countries, trying new foods, skiing, scuba diving, freediving, playing soccer and video games, and spending time at Disneyland.
Dr. Makela is passionate about preventive medicine and believes that building lasting relationships with clients is the foundation of exceptional veterinary care. He is committed to partnering with pet owners to help their companions live long, healthy, and happy lives.
